Province Promotions was formed by solicitors Adair Donaldson and Peter Shannon with the aim of developing and facilitating educational and training resources with a focus on harm minimisation for young adults. Peter and Adair have a long history of commitment to the legal profession and the local community. In 2005 they won the prestigious Queensland Civil Justice Award, an annual peer based award which recognises outstanding achievement in promoting justice, freedom and the rights of an individual. They were also finalists for this same award in 2002.
Introducing Generation Y
Jack Mackenzie has been working at Shannon Donaldson Province Lawyers since the the end of 2008. He attended high school at the Toowoomba Grammar School, graduating in 2007. Following this, he spent the year in England as a Gap student, experiencing all life has to offer. He is now commencing his second year of law at the Queensland University of Technology with aspirations of becoming a lawyer.
Emily Krelle has only just begun at Shannon Donaldson Province Lawyers and is sharing an office with Jack. Em is fresh out of high school having completed her studies at Fairholme College. She intends to commence her Dual Arts/Law degree at the Queensland University next year.
Mitch is the newest addition to Shannon Donaldson Province Lawyers team, commencing work at the beginning of 2011. Mitch was school captain of Concordia Lutheran College in 2010. He begins his Bachelor of Laws/Business at the Queensland University of Technology this year.
